Lucy Brooks Almoner Member Since: 11-Jan-2004

Lucy Brooks arrived in Australia in 1960, from Chile, South America. A former University lecturer, with a background in nursing who, due to work injuries, abandoned her chosen field of work and has been performing as a Marriage Celebrant for the past 10 years. She is also an artist that draws, paints and sculpts. Lucy is a well known Accredited Public Speaking Critic and Debating Adjudicator, participating in a variety of public speaking and debating competitions.  She is at present an organizing member of the Speak Up Award, a public speaking competition for primary school children. She has been a member of RC of Heirisson since January 1996. Lucy is this year Heirisson Procurement Officer, Counselor to our outbound exchange student and District 9450 National Youth Science Forum Chairman.
