Paul FaixWebmaster |
Paul arrived in Australia just before the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He had already gained a masters degree in software engineering in Europe, then completed a Diploma in Business Management and an Advanced Diploma in IT in Sydney. The latest part of his formal education is a Professional Search Engine Marketer Certificate. Just after his arrival, Paul joined one of the world’s largest sign franchise groups as Business Development Manager. He was charged with the task of improving performance and output for all the franchisees nationally. His objective was to develop and execute a plan to grow every one of the franchise outlets, and his efforts resulted in the growth to individual businesses of more than 80% each year. Naturally, five years later, he formed his own consulting firm to continue this successful path and help other businesses grow. Paul possesses an extensive knowledge in most aspects of business process, systems architecture and management across many industry sectors. His technical expertise ranges from advanced business analysis, process, to design and implementation. Paul is a founder and CEO of Fortix – a consulting and personalised software development firm working with clients across Australia and overseas. His desire is to facilitate business development for his clients using the latest technologies. For more details visit www.fortix.com.au Wife Denisa is Paul’s rock. She is a huge supporter of Paul’s business and a great sounding board helping to deliver a reality check whenever the ever enthusiastic and optimistic Paul needs it. Both Paul and Denisa say their biggest achievement is their 2 boys – Filip and Oliver. Both are destined to become developers themselves - they are already mesmerised by computers and have completely destroyed a computer mouse, keyboard, several headsets and even managed to switch off a PC during some very sensitive updates :-) Despite these setbacks - we love them! Paul is also active in the community. He is a member and on the board of the Rotary Club of Heirisson, as well as a member of the Healing Hearts Foundation supporting parents who have lost a child. |
