Member Since:
08-Jul-2010

Sue has more than 30 years experience in journalism, marketing, publications, speech writing and creating communications strategies, with particular expertise in environmental issues. She now owns and runs The Communications Branch Pty Ltd, a Perth based PR, media and communications business.

She began her career as a journalist working for major metropolitan newspapers and won several national awards for writing. She became a media consultant and communications advisor for national and state organisations, working on political and private project launches.

Skills include media advice and the ability to effectively coordinate publications from the writing to the printing stage. She is able to organise and promote conferences, develop mailing lists and implement long term communications strategies from the ground up.

She has worked on senior political and other postings, including a Royal Commission, and regularly liaises with senior journalists across the country on sensitive political matters.

The ability to coordinate and transform an organisation's strands of information into streamlined communications strategies is another of her skills. By consolidating her experience from small and large organisations she is able to creat innovate communication actions that are guaranteed to reach the public, staff and stakeholders.
