Alan joined our Club after meeting some of our members and experiencing the camaraderie of the Club. Dr Andrew Zint is a sessional lecturer & tutor, and an ITAS tutor. Importantly, Andrew draws upon an ontological coaching model to facilitate and encourage self directed learning.

Carolyn has been a Rotarian for twenty years and was a charter member of our Club which was the first mixed gender club to be chartered amongst the three WA districts. She served as President in 1992-1993. was the first female District Governors Representative in District 9450 the following year and has chaired many district committees over the years. She also served as an Assistant District Governor for three years. Carolyn is passionate about Rotary and its ideals. Chris enjoys the fellowship of Rotary and being involved in community work. He has built his career from the ground up in the Building Industry, starting off as an apprentice bricklayer and nowadays holding Senior roles with Plunkett Homes for the Metropolitan area, Geraldton & Avon Regions and the South West. He is a member of the Building Disputes Tribunal and a member of the IR Legal Committee for the Housing Industry Association. David is a Physiotherapist in Private Practice. During his year as President. 2010-2011 he steered the Club steadily and successfully, our club won "Club of the Year" for achievements.
David is also the Rotary Youth Exchange coordinator for the Rotary Club of Heirisson and a member of the District Rotary Youth Exchange Committee.
Camaraderie and Fellowship are the key elements in enjoying his participation in Rotary.

Denis and his partner Elaine moved to Perth late in 2010 and decided they wanted to contribute to the community and have been involved in our Duck Race even prior to their induction! Denis has over 35 years experience in the Information Technology industry in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. His roles have included the management of IT for major corporates and industry leaders, and in recent years since semi retirement, consultancy and project management which he enjoys when the opportunity arises. Denis has a reputation for achieving results and adopting a practical and methodical approach to resolving issues. Denis and his partner Elaine moved to Perth from Auckland due to Elaine's work. They have five children and four grandchildren back in New Zealand and look forward to visits.

Doug has been a member of three Rotary clubs and is Past President of Hollywood Rotary Club. Born in NSW and grew up in Queensland. Transferred to Perth by Shell Company in 1977 and refuses to move back east. Has been self employed since 1984 in the small business sector. Married to Penny forever and has three children who show no signs of ever settlling down. Heavily involved in Rotary Youth Exchange and has been the placement officer for Scandinavia since 1999. Twice awarded the Paul Harris Fellow.

Elaine's work bought her to Perth from New Zealand late October 2010 with her partner Denis. They wanted to contribute to the community and be involved and they certainly become involved quickly assisting with our Duck Race early 2011 prior to their induction! Elaine has 20 years experience in IT and is currently working as a Regional Manager for Field Delivery at Oracle Australia. Elaine has a varied IT background and this new role is a bit of an adventure. Both Elaine and Denis are loving Perth with lots of cycling and outdoor activities. Plans to purchase kayaks are on the agenda....to enjoy our lovely River, not on the ocean as they are used to. Elaine and her partner Denis have five children and four grandchildren.

A Foundation member of our Club Gary retired in 2006 and devotes most of his time peforming voluntary work. Gary is Chairman of the Healing Hearts Foundation (Inc) - a not for profit group helping bereaved parents coping with the loss of a child. Click on my name for more information.

Greg is married to Vicki and they have two teenage daughters. He is Principal of a Subiaco based Real Estate office servicing both the Commercial and Residential property markets. He was invited to join our Club by a foundation member and is continually amazed at the quality and skills our members contribute to club projects. Jacquie joined Rotary in January 2011 and enjoys being a part of a great organisation, since she was a small child she has been associated with people with some form of disability and was naturally drawn to a career in a related field. She has worked professionally in this field for 30 years and has extensive experience in managing process teams. She joined PD Leading Enterprises in 2001 and is currently managing the work of 50 employees with psychiatric disorders as well as all production and process programmes for a range of small and large contracts. She is also responsible for business development.

Jim first joined our Club in 1996 and served as Director of Club Services. He also managed the Principal of the Year event for three years. He retired from our club in 2004 and has rejoined us in August 2010. A member of Rotary since 1995 and of the Rotary Club of Heirisson since 1999, Judith has worked for over 30 years in the information management industry, the last 15 years as Owner / Principal Consultant of “Manage Your Information“ (MYI) which specialises in innovative, technology-neutral and practical solutions for managing those pesky, unstructured beasts: documents.

Kum loves his job selling photocopiers for Ricoh but his real passion is food and red wine. His dream job would be the food and wine writer for some magazine.

Linda joined Rotary in 2008 and has been involved in fundraising, club t-shirts and the role of secretary. She has assisted with the RI and District websites. Linda lives in East Perth and has two adorable granddaughters and a Bischon Frise puppy. Click on my name for further information.

Lucy joined Rotary in 1996 and in 1998 was the winner of the Regal Theatre "Raconteur of the Year Award" (run by Rotary). She received a trophy and prize money of $1000.00 which she donated to the Club. She was director of Club Services in 2007, and was District Chairman of the National Youth Science Forum for four years then handed over to Greg Thurston in 2010. Mike Fetherstonn is a geologist and industrial minerals specialist with over 30 years experience in the mineral industry. As a foundation member, Mike has served in many Club roles including Director for Youth, Director for International, Club Treasurer, Secretary and in 1999 Club President. More recently, he has become a Trustee and Treasurer of the affiliated Healing Hearts Foundation. During his time in Rotary Mike has participated in many District committees specialising in Youth and various International Exchange roles. In 2000 he became a Paul Harris Fellow.

Paul arrived in Australia just before the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He has completed a masters degree in software engineering at one of the most prestigious Universities in Europe.

Paul is a mortgage broker and owns/operates Aussie Home Loans franchise stores in Belmont, Currambine, Joondalup and Midland. Earlier he was a police officer and detective in the Western Australian Police. Later he served as Federal Member for Moore (1990-1998). He has been a member of rhe Rotary Club of Sorrento, Lions Club of Wanneroo and a patron of the Whitfords Volunteer Sea Rescue Group, coordinator for the Princess Margaret Help a Child to Health Appeal and Joondalup City Chairman for the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal. He and his wife Geraldine have two sons and a daughter.

Paul was involved in the retail industry for 45 years. Although retired, he is still involved in property investment in Broome and Perth. He is a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship and a Foundation member of our Club. Paul is always involved in club projects and fundraising and lives happily with wife Lis in East Perth.

Paul was inducted into the club July 2011. He is an oil and gas professional that has followed project work throughout his career having to move many times both around the globe and throughout Australia. He and his wife, Margo, pulled up stakes in Sydney and moved to Perth in late 2009. He looks forward to giving back to the community this next year via a role in club services and in support of the Duck Derby.

Peter has been a member of our Club since 2006 and is currently our President Elect and Community Service Director. Peter has worked in the IT industry for 30 years and is currently the state manager for SAS Institute. He and his wife of 30 years, Denice, have three children and live in Highgate. Peter says the opportunity to serve the community in which he lives as well as contribute to programmes which benefit humanity on a global scale are the foundation of his commitment to Rotary.

Robert has been involved with Rotary since 1993 and has sponsored exchange students and his son Todd is currently overseas on exchange. Robert is married with two children and lives in Mt Lawley. Ross is the Chief Executive Officer of a large private property and automotive group. At Heirisson he enjoys working with a diverse range of professional people who have the common aim of making a difference in the local and international community.

Sandra joined our Club after being a guest speaker in 2010. She is currently CEO of the Citizens Advice Bureau, a not for profit Community Legal Centre. Sandra comes from country WA and trained as a nurse at RPH and has worked in management for a number of charitable and not for profit agencies including the Cerebral Palsy Association, the Red Cross Blood Service and the Diabetic Association since the late 1970's. Sue has been a member of our Club since July 2010 and is involved with several youth development projects. She has also been involved in other projects including the Claisebrook Carnivale and Duck Derby, book collection for Save the Children Fund, editing a book written by a former drug addict and writing the website copy for the Place of Reflection which will open in Kings Park this year. She has two sons aged 21 and 24 and is a Director of a communications company. She enjoys her Rotary contacts, many of whom have become great friends and finds the tasks creative and challenging. Tony was born in Ireland in 1956 the first of 3 children to Paddy and Noni Moore. In 1966 we migrated to South Africa. Tony finished highschool in 1973 and completed a 4 year Bachelor of Accounting Science. From there he did his Honours, wrote the Board Exam and became a Chartered Accountant. Trudy leads a busy life as a pilot examiner and is intensley involved running a florist business with her daughter Jasmine in Royal Street East Perth called "Bee Happy Flowers" catering for corporate and general floristry. Her husband David loves boating and the family enjoy many trips to Rottnest for R & R, Trudy loves to travel with her family.

Udo works in IT management. He has lived in Germany, South Africa and Australia, so it’s no wonder that he enjoys the International Service side of Rotary. Click on my name for more information.

Warren is a qualified Accountant and joined Rotary as a means of "giving back to the community" when working hours permitted. Heirisson Club has many and varied members who enjoy having fun and above all gain satisfaction from assisting many people less fortunate than ourselves. Interests include family, golf, great food and wine.

Warwick is passionate about "big picture" scenarios and future-building, democracy and stategic governance, learning organisations and community involvement, wine, travel, friends and family. He has been active in past Heirisson Boards and direcorates, and District Membership Development and Legislation committees. He loves what Rotary does with young people locally and globally, and is a Paul Harris Fellow.

Wayne has been a member of our Club since 2008 and since then has assumed the role of International Director which supports the Exchange Student Program and all overseas initiatives. He is actively involved in fundraising for the annual Charity Dinner and assists with all fundraising activities the club offers.
