OUTBOUND ROTARY EXCHANGE STUDENT - VANESSA PLUMMER
	Hi, I have just returned from RIO, and as my luck would have it it was cloudy and rainy:(. Yet being the good Aussie girl I am I ventured into the seriously freezing ocean every chance I could get:) Its was great to be back at the ocean once again. The remainder of the time I was shown some of the sites. This is a truly beautiful city, yet I would still say that Salvador is better. Its my favourite place I have travelled to so far. With the beautiful historic buildings, Warm Sunny beaches and great sites. My favourite place being Morro de São Paulo a short boat ride just of the coast. Here the beaches are beautiful and uncrowded (in the off season that is) and all that is required of you is to sit and watch your food and drinks be brought to you where ever you are on the beach! So my year is coming to an end, with school coming to a close and Christmas fast approaching(I'm still amazed at how they could put up all the christmas decorations in mid October???). Before I know it I will be home looking back on this life changing experience, thinking where did the time go. But until that moment I will continue to enjoy my time and lasting days with my new found friends and family. Thank-you Vanessa
